About Our Scout Group

Our History

The 88th Hamilton Scouts has been serving the Hamilton community since 1963, providing youth with opportunities to develop leadership skills, make lifelong friends, and experience the great outdoors.

We meet at Emmanuel United Church at 871 Upper Ottawa St, Hamilton, ON L8T 3V4, where we've been proudly hosted for over 60 years.

Our Programs

We offer three exciting programs tailored to different age groups:

  • Beavers (5-7 years): Fun, friendship and outdoor adventure
  • Cubs (8-10 years): Outdoor activities, games and skill-building
  • Scouts (11-14 years): Leadership development and challenging adventures
  • Venturers (15-18 years): Discovering the best in themselves
  • Rovers (18-26 years): Tuning their leadership skills
